GUEST PLAYING GUIDELINES

OVERVIEW These guidelines set clear expectations for players who participate as guests with teams either within or outside of Sin City Thunder. The aim is to promote flexibility while ensuring fairness and communication among all teams and age groups.

INTERNAL GUEST PLAYING Guest playing is strongly encouraged to take place within the Thunder organization whenever possible. This approach builds camaraderie and offers consistent opportunities for player development across different divisions and age groups. EXTERNAL GUEST PLAYING  Players must notify their Thunder coach and obtain permission before guest playing with a team outside the organization. - Guest playing must never interfere with a player’s commitments to their Thunder team, including practices and tournaments. - If a player is guest playing for another team in a tournament where a Thunder team is also participating, the player must sit out for any games played against the Thunder team. - Players cannot participate with a different team in a separate tournament if their Thunder team is scheduled to play the same weekend. - If an arrangement is agreed upon by the coach, parent, and player to guest play externally, and the Thunder coach later enters a tournament (or the same tournament), the player may honor their commitment to the other team.

CONDUCT AND EXPECTATIONS DURING GUEST PLAY - Players must uphold high standards of behavior both on and off the field. - When playing as a guest, players should be respectful, show strong effort, support their temporary teammates, and represent their Thunder team with pride. - Failure to follow guest playing rules may result in limited participation or removal from the organization
